We didn’t spend 25m on players in the 80s and a reported 70k a week. Seriously though mate, he is right up there with our worst signings for value for money.
Loads of clubs do this, we really need to be for our players.

whilst i agree it seems we have a plan in place that we have a replacement lined up, but only on a perm (batshuayi does actually fit this scenario perfectly given the zouma loan), so we can't afford to have niasse and tosun out, just to have them return again. I agree with our stance tbh, i mean i'd have preferred we sold niasse and then got a loan for tosun to a prem team he was guaranteed games. Bit in the same way newcastle did with mitrovic (albeit championship), which raised his profile again and they got maximum value for his sale. If they sold him outright to start with they'd have got half the fee. Tosun is every bit as good as him tbh, his strike rate shows that, just not a good fit for silva.
