The problem for me has always been getting the ball to the front four, not really with the front four (bar not having a striker for six months).

Essentially two central midfielders who can pass forwards, one preferably a deep lying play maker and you unlock the guts of 100 mill in attacking talent.

Waste of wages, waste of a shirt. The majority of games he has played we may as well have played with a man less. I can't think of any other players I dislike more that have played for us - and that includes Drenthe and Van Der Meyde.

It’s not difficult to sell him if we lower the price to 10m.

Any premiere league team can afford him at 10m with 120k wages.

If we are really adamant to get rid, 8m is sufficient. Nevermind about recouping 25m.

Pocketing 8 to 10m and 120k wages off the bill is a good ending regardless.

Not good enough for a top half let alone top 6 club. Flog for around £10m and pay a bit of his wages if need be, suspect he’s in about £80k p/w, so most premier league clubs can afford that nowadays.

Bolasie (29) has made 119 appearances in a top division and scored 11 goals - averages out at a goal every 11 appearances.

Lookman (20) has made 26 appearances in a top division and scored 6 goals - averages out at a goal every 4 appearances.

At the same rate, Lookman will have scored 30 goals in a top division by the time he gets to 119 games. Lookman is essentially 3x the player Bolasie is but near 10 years younger and doesn't have his ability to improve factored in.

The only consistent aspects to Boloasie’s game in his whole PL career have been his consistent lack of tangible end product (goals, assists) and tendency to get injured. He is a 1 goal, <2 assists every ten PL games over his career and has averaged 15 games per year over the last two years. He has been marginally more productive for us than Palace (Lukaku helped his assists) but he’s bang average on big wages. Why on earth does anyone want to keep that?
