I think the 'fury' is because;

A- He was never worth the fee
B- Statistically he's awful
C- Pointless step overs / showboating
D- Instagram warrior

Other posters are stating that;

D- He's a top player who needs time to recover (he was never a top player)
E- He was great for us before his injury(he wasnt)

Its like hes been injured and suddenly become 100 times the player but needs time to heal...
