We set the tone by splurging megacash on the Bolasie of the managerial world, Ronald Koeman. It just got stupider from there with this signing being a particular lowlight with the money paid.
Where can we find another Kanchelskis?
And how much will he cost?
He is the wing version of Oumar.I remember speaking to an avid palace fan when we signed Bolasie. I asked “what’s he like?” He replied, “we never knew what he was going to do next......, trouble is, neither did he...”
What was that?
What was that?
That's the funny thing. Strikers are usually the most expensive part of a team, yet Bolasie cost twice as much as Oumar and is at least fourteen thousand times worse than him.He is the wing version of Oumar.
Pre Bolasie injury they were probably more similar - now Bolasie on a free would be a gamble. That's the funny thing. Strikers are usually the most expensive part of a team, yet Bolasie cost twice as much as Oumar and is at least fourteen thousand times worse than him.
nd you may well be right but doesn't he deserve the chance to regain some form just in case we can save £28m?
When Coleman had a serious injury 3 or 4 years ago it took him half a season to look like anything like his former self. Good job we didn't sell him hey!
Wasn't that a Spanish player in a pre season friendly that completely took him out for weeks. I remember he got well crocked.
Give it up mate, he's terrible. 2 or 3 good games (MOTM against Watford?!) doesn't make him any good - certainly not worth keeping. He's a lower league journeyman that got lucky by signing for us.
Think we only signed him to stop him looking decent twice a season.
The opinions on Bolasie are indeed extreme. He’s literally the only true wing at the club. He has talent and can produce at times. Many players that take players on are inconsistent.
He also isn’t like Coleman who broke a leg. He tore his MCL and ACL. Expecting him to be 100% in a year is silly, so expectation have been unrealistic.
It would be fine if we sell him, but we’d need another player that can play out wide like Lozano.
