I like him as a person, very much, but I'm not convinced he's right for us. He's one of the few players in our squad that would probably provide a decent return (though one well short of what we paid for him). He's a saleable asset, and if we're looking to get the squad size down, he's a good candidate.

Everybody remember Allardyce saying he just needs to play more and will get better towards end of the season ... yet the more he played, the worse he got, haha!
I suspect he'll be here until January and depending how Silva and Brands rate him
I would sell him and bring Lookman back.

I can see why he was bought but the injury was always going to finish him at the level we need to be aiming for.
The nagging feeling though has to be how good could he have been. When he got injured he was performing at a top 6 level to be fair to him and only crap finishing ran his stats lower.
Still we need to be aiming younger and better in his position now.

Seems to have lost his initial burst of pace that allowed him to cross a ball or beat a man. Claim on the warranty or bin.
