Would you sell Jelavic?

Don't sell Jelly, he's got 2nd season syndrome thats all
And if he's still gash next season well there's plenty on his contract to help get a decent price

There was a chance today where he had it in the Gwladys street box and we were screaming for him to hit it. Instead he took a touch, turned inside, turned again then played it across the box to a Fulham player. If ever there's a sign if a player with zero confidence in his ability it was that. It was simpler for him to hit it first or second time than to try to play someone else in.

He needs someone to put an arm round him and tell him he's boss. He's fine when he plays for Croatia so this is plainly a man management issue.

Moyes out ( sorry Goat ) ...hopefully, which will save us 10 million we havn't got to buy a decent striker.

Well I ain't seen him play ok for Croatia maybe the odd occasion last season he can't get in the starting line up
Can't remember the last time he actually scored for Croatia he has lost it, time to move on

The real question here is.. what is doing Apostolos Vellios these days when a team named Everton plays... sadly he is probably our best striker now and he got almost no chances this season..

How can he be our best striker? He's hardly played for a start so there is zero to measure his ability on other than reserve and u21 appearences. At present Victor is our MAIN/BEST striker. There's no argument for it.

What everton needs is a £20m + striker, if we had one we would be 3rd this season. All the fellaini money should be used to get one imo, its all well and good getting 2 or 3 bargains but they're never going to get us in to the champions league, we need a match winner, all the top teams have one.

What happens when that £20m+ striker gets injured. It's about finding a balance between quality and a big enough squad.

Throwing all you eggs into one basket is not the way to go.

Its coming to the point now, for me, where we need to try something different, Its all well and good finishing in the top half but were never going to get into the top 4 as it is.

"He's been knackered since he played a full season then the Euro's with no break."

"He'll be back to his best next season."

"He only needs to score one then his confidence will be up and he'll slot for fun."

No, no and no, he's sh*te.

When he played for our first team, he played well every team. His goal ratio for us is 1 goal in every 118 minutes. Jelavic 1 goal in every 208 mins, Anichebe 1 goal in 307 mins. When he played for us this season, every time he made a difference, he has a good ability in combination - something what Jelavic doesn't have. He can finish well with his head - something what Jelavic can't do. And he has a good finishing ability - better than Anichebe. That's why I think he is our best striker and he should get minutes in our first team instead of Jelavic, at least.

If we can somehow get £5m for him he should be sold. Looks lazy and disinterested, and he isn't one of the younger lads.

He had a good three months for us, but this entire season he's been a disgrace.

We badly need two strikers this summer, and if we don't get them we'll be absolutely f*cked next season.

PS I was thinking yesterday that that McManaman fella from Wigan isn't too bad and might be a steal if they go down. Am I mad? Boyhood Blue and knows the club inside out after coming through the ranks.

Replacement for Pienaar with Mirallas switching to the left? Could be had for 3m or so.

Whose bright idea was it to let him go? Looks a player...under Martinez anyway.
