Fellaini offers us nothing and add to a list of midfielder that lacks mobility, lack of meaningful pressing and zero dribbling skills. I’m not sure why we should follow this trend of recruiting midfielders with limited short safe passing.

We need a dynamic midfielder who can carry the ball, accurate forward passing and create chances with through balls. On the other hand being as aggressive as Gana when we are not in possession. We have a full list of midfielder who can’t do this. I’d rather give Klaassen a chance than buying another UTd reject. Buying for the sake of buying with no substance to add to whatever we have now.

Exactly. Although, our current set-up does not even allow for this (hopefully soon to change). As for the big-wig fella, we should be getting players on their way up, not on their way down. I like Fellaini for what he provides as a big target that unsettles the opposition. But, is this enough to justify adding him to the wage bill?

Amongst a team of money hungry, diving, cheating, dirty United players; Ashley Young receives marks of distinction as being the worst of the lot.

I don’t care how talented a player is; character & intergrity must remain fundamental pillars of our personnel decisions. This is within the same vein as the outrage that I still associate with the Allardyce appointment.
