At the time Lescott was the better player...an absolute beast at full back and deserved to be playing ahead of Baines.

I think it's a bit unfair on Naismith seeing as a) he is out of position, and b) he had a terrible injury.

The biggest letdown for me was Beattie. I thought he was boss at southampton and then I saw him play for england before he joined us and when he ran it was like he was running in water he was so slow...i had a bad feeling after that

To be fair to moyes, Koldrup, Gardner, Senderos never got a look in despite being on paper solid acquisitions for the situation at the time

There's nothing wrong in the general purpose of the thread as it only asks us to express an opinion which is the entire purpose of a forum. However...I completely agree with you if your point is to say that current Everton players should not be on the list as that will just demoralise them even more.

Rodrigo was a Brazilian AM/ST who turned up on a 12 month loan and got injured after playing a game or half a game in training. He went back to Brazil for the 12 months to recover. Weifeng came as part of the Kejian deal (nice Puma home shirt) that also saw midfield marathon man Li Tie arrive. Weifeng was a never used defender - I feel he came so Tie didnt get so homesick and lonely.
