Worrying before 'it' happens

moan, moan, moan, ghost you really are carrying the weight of the club on your shoulders, you have all the answers it seems, every thread you start goes down the same route, you obviously cant contact mr ross anymore so your hourly e-mails to him are now being posted on here instead, if someone else was posting the stuff that you are then you'd be on them straight away, sharpy isnt a doom and gloom merchant he's just tearing his hair out at the situation, but i dont see him starting endless threads that seem to be trying to turn the whole forum against the club/ board etc.
we all care deeply about the club but we are trying to get behind them as opposed to going against them, next time a rs comes in ask if you can have a sip from their optimism cup cos i think you need a little bit of it. you'll probably take the knock at what i've written but frankly i don't really care, just up your outlook and maybe you'll feel a little happier.

What? I'm sorry, what?

I'm not contacting Ian Ross anymore because he's span too much [Poor language removed] that I can't take it anymore, and I just don't think he knows whats going on to be honest.

I have also started only 2 threads on the front page of The Blue Room, one I feel was a great post and highlighted some important points, going someway to analyse what's going on.

The other post was about City FM, and them reporting us signing players. So don't really see why you are having a go at me.

Sharpy is a doom merchant by his own admission. We have a joke about it.

So again, why are you attacking me?

Disagree.

I have total faith in Moyes. He knows what he's doing. Its obvious he has at least £20million (McFadden & Johnson money and a bit more), the same amount, if not more than he has had to spend any other pre-season.

If he wanted to, he could have brought in a few bodies to boost numbers but he obviously is confident he will have quality by the end of the transfer window.

Fans want us to bring in quality to bridge the gap between us and 4th, the man is trying his best to do that. Moutinho will, Sidwell wont.

We are no worse off than we were last year. Cahill, Vaughan nearly back to full fitness, Arteta is... with a few youngsters gaining a good pre-season under their belt.

The fans who have called Everton a joke and a disgrace should have a serious look at themselves.

Yep, you're quite right Danny, he's become such a football management ninja, he's now doing the equivalent of putting a blindfold on and using the force.
He's that hard, he's going to walk up to Paul Ince at 1430 on Saturday wave his teamsheet and say "Look at me, I'm that [Poor language removed] brilliant, I can beat you with these. I'm that [Poor language removed] hard, I haven't even got a full team and I'm still going to beat you"

I don't think anyone would argue that the ideal situation would have been for any new signings to have been onboard in time for the US Tour, never mind the start of the season. Davey has expressed his frustration himself, it's not a matter of choice, things have gone awry and it's understandable that people are concerned.

And Mick, I might not be Ghost's biggest fan, and he may ocassionally fly off the handle, but if you weren't a Mod I'm guessing you'd be warned for baiting like that - just an observation.

Brilliant post especially the above section, that is why we are called supporters, cause we get together and follow the boys. Yes everyone is concerned by what or what is not happening however none of us know the actual truth. So all people are saying is lets try and stay calm until the window is closed and see who we bring in and this saturday turn up, cheer on the blues. And then as us loyal blues do if things dont go to plan we will dust ourselves down and turn up once again to support the boys. I am not being naive and i can see that the silence from the club is defeaning however i really do like to stay positive, ps i really hope that current players and potential players dont read this forum otherwise motivation will be screwed hey maybe that is why no one is signing for us they are all reading GOT:D

You cant say he hasn't been chased over this thread as a moaner and someone who has the manager in his sights?

Behave yourself.

Its just a difference of opinions, you find that on a forum.

If anything, its been a "witch hunt" against me, even Ghost said I am on my own

I agree it isnt ideal that any new players arent going to have as much time to bed in but we dont live in an ideal World- especailly at Everton eh? ;-)

In regards to baiting Ghost- I responded to being told to grow up when what I was reffering to wasnt personal just that in his eyes we are up [Poor language removed] creek without a paddle.

Im not a fan nor a foe of Ghost but you have to credit him on the fact that the lad speaks his mind. In my opinion for what it is worth, "and sorry for butting in here" he does not just criticise the club, he also has been full of praise from time to time during my short stay on this forum. I feel we do have the right to be concerned about the current situation at the club, but at least Ghost is honest in terms of having balanced views. Those that just praise the club, i fully commend you for your loyalties, but you do also need to be reallistic when all is not right. We may have had one or two run in's but his heart is in the right place, he just wants the best for the club like we all do, surely that is no crime, is it?

Well you may as well leave this board, dont go to any games, dont read or watch anymore news on the club because in your eyes were [Poor language removed] and thats the end of it. Seya later.

yeah you're right, he started it :P:lol:

We all hope that you and Danny turn out to be right, and we pull in the expected 15 points from the first 5 games, and power on to a top4 finish and big heap o' silverware, but you can understand people getting twitchy, because we're going about it in a really funny [Poor language removed] way :D

"Any football fan, sorry any person with any kind of intelligence can see that we have a problem, and it has no indication of getting better soon."

Ghost baited me with that.

Its a witch hunt, a witch hunt I tell you!!!!

i'm not attacking you, it just seems you are immersing yourself alittle too deep for you own good, and by that i mean that it's stuff you have no control over, yeah we are all worried but we have to try to stay positive as the anxiety thats gonna be around the place on sat will inevitably get to the team, we may be starting with some young lads on sat and i dont think the general atmopsphere will help them especially.

I have a paddle, its just crap and has been taped up loads of times. I'm going to end up stinking, stinking I tell you! :)

You see this is a good post. Cheers mate.

Call it as you see it, which is what I try and do. I'm not going to kiss arse for the sake if it, or because they are on my team. Call me pragmatic, or call me goal oriented, I want to see results, and to be honest don't care if its Farrelly, Kilbane or Yak.

Back to the situation at hand, there is a problem, and I commend those who are trying to see the silver lining. But if I read one more [Poor language removed] story on the OS, I am going to hack it like its never been hacked before. Or I'll just piss and moan here and threat to leave again. Not made my mind up yet. :D

You know what would be ace?

Shutting down the blue room and all everton related talk until we've signed someone. I'm feeling crap about this whole no transfer situation and I don't think I could be as happy go lucky about Everton as this forum demands I should be.

Good idea or a bad idea, should we have a poll on it?
