I guess so. But I do remember USA 94 when there was a regular 12.30am (GMT) match. That would've been a night match if on the East coast. Although the final in Pasadena was in daylight...yep, same as Brazil 4 years ago. Most games were 1pm, 3pm and 5pm local time

It was a brilliant game mate! No-one at my work watched it so I reckon it was just us two!!!!Best match I remember was in Mexico 86 when Belgium beat USSR 4-3 after extra time. Small hours of a sunday night/ Monday morning and I had school the next morning but was allowed to stay up alone and watch untill 1.15 am, great commentary by that east anglia TV fella Gerry Harrison.Game is largely forgotten now because it didn't involve one of the elite nations.
