Jags will be fine as a back up.. (sub etc). I think he's looked terrible at times in the past couple of seasons and then come back to the side and done well. Maybe it was partly the struggle to get a decent partnership going (anyone with Chubby was going to struggle). At least he won't Lescott it on Saturday and just refuse to play at all. If we can get a tune out of the forwards we will draw 3-3.. (lead three times, Everton That)..

None of the deadline players should play on Saturday

Sweeping statement!

In the case of Mina/Zouma, they’ve both come from preseason training with their clubs, so fitness no issue. Even with only 2 days to work on drills, I’d expect them to offer more than Keane, who just looks shot.

Let’s see what Silva decides.

Mina trained 3 days. Signed yesterday. Gomes had a knock. Bernard only signed so who knows how his fitness is. Zouma probably has missed the registration deadline for this weekend.

Registration is 12 noon today, isn’t it?

Mina just back from WC, so assuming he’s fit.

Under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t throw players in. Our defence hasn’t been normal. Some big calls for Silva to make.

Yeah it usually was 12 noon day before. But I've a feeling that deadline is moved forward where there is a Friday game.

I expect Keane and jags but Digne and not Baines at left back.

hi guys. i seen the other guy post ignore him over excitement. its not the wrong time to play us however i feel it may be the right time to play you with the new signings unlikely to start. you have had an excellent transfer window congrats. our main threats are going to be jota/costa. neves will control the game if afforded the time. unsure whether traore is fit to play for us same with dendoncker. i am hopeful for somewhere near midtable this year but safety 1st obviously. the likes of jota, neves, boly were bought last year with the premiership in mind so should step up as experienced champions league no guarantees though. i think it will be an entertaining game that we edge 2-1 but wouldnt be suprised if we lost. good luck for the season and im looking forward to seeing how your new signings do. i reckon you have every chance of pushing for the top 6.
