I mentioned on here that he was the great young prospect we had early 80's and couldn't understand why we sold him.Apparently a lot of the arl as lads on here said he went to Villa as a stepping stone to play for his team the rs.
Not the 80s matey...the 50s and 60s...…..Played for Everton, The Rs, Villa and Tranmere Rovers. On holiday around 1960,in the Isle Of Man, he was with Tranmere 'on tour' preseason and we met him in the Villiers pub in Douglas..on his way out he bought us a couple of pints each. Excellent Evertonian and a true gentleman, when the word meant something.

Think you're getting mixed up with Steve McMahon

Sorry I was talking about mcmahon.

Their free kick taken from totally the wrong position.MOTD mentioned it in passing. If it had been one of the Sky luvvy teams, they'd have wet themselves with indignation.

Im still convinced that the FA was behind that sending off yesterday. Was fishy how like last year we were given a particular starting fixture (best of the rest vs new boys on the block) and the media were desperate for a Wolves win.

Jags was absolutely stupid and deserves peddling but that sending off definitely stinks.

How did they know that’d happen?

Not for me, Jags was unlucky but that’s it.

If so then they've done us a favour, as none of us really believed we could win yesterday and now Jagielka isn't in contention for our next fixture, which is obviously a bonus.
