So this day ticket seems the best/cheapest option? There's three of us so its €30.

Just basically plan it round the trains that aren't ICE?

Blues are flying into Hannover,Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and the only way of getting to Wolfsburg is by train !
We have spent hundreds of pounds on flights, tickets, hotels and may not even get to the ground !
Not sure what the answer is but I'm starting to look for bus services Hannover-Wolfsburg !

That's right the normal trains take an hour but the savings are worth it gets you more than a few beers
