Down to 2 away ticket for ST holders.....just saying
Both are good, Jack the Ripper for me, anyone else planning to be there Thurday morning ?
I arrive just after 1pm..... can't come quick enough now.
Go here:
http://www.bahn.de/p_en/view/index.shtml
put in Hannover Hbf in top box
put in Wolfsburg Hbf in second box
add day and time
change number of passengers
hit Search
look at all train options (RE is regional train, ICE is quicker and more expensive InterCity)
In case you haven't guessed, Hbf is the abbreviation for main railway station.
Thanks, Ive just booked my trains from Berlin. 90 Euros all in for 2 of us, so basically £17 per person each way. Get into Wolfsburg about 2, and went for the 11pm one back just in case they keep us back. And if not, find somewhere to hopefully celebrate for an hour waiting for the train back.
Is this likely to get to ST holders?
Similar to me. Thought u was going from Hannover so presumably you haven't booked accommodation yet then!
For anyone who's not booked their train tickets on www.bahn.de yet, there's a drop down box at the top of the page where you can choose English language. It's a piece of piss.Differnt guy who originally asked for the advice, not me! It was just very helpful anyway! Been meaning to book my train tickets for weeks and just been horrified by the big scary German language website and booking the wrong thing!

Buying match tickets off the Wolfsburg website was a lot trickier
Haha, as I'm a bit of an IT simpleton, I had to highlight sections of text and copy & paste it into Google Translate. Took me ages to set up an account then buy ticketsThe Wolfsburg website was nice and easy because I booked on there before my Google Chrome went kaputt. That auto translated, Firefox doesnt seem quite as good at translating.
And yeah I saw that bit about my ID. Just paid with my credit card, as that can be classed as an appropriate form of ID so just made things easier. Got the print at home option, weird its only one sheet of paper for the whole booking, rather than per person or each way, we'd have 4 tickets (possibly more given that they sometimes make you have to take a booking ticket as well) for the same king of booking.
What's the neutral section all about, don't want to be in with all the home fans but if I can't get an away then this is the only option.
Effectively, it's the same as what the Bullens and Main Stand are to us, with the Gwladys Street being the 'Home End', it's all home fans, but the Ultras go in the 'home' and the fans who arent go in the rest of the ground.
