for those staying in hannover, what time are people planning on heading over to Wolfsburg? Also, does €18 for 2 tickets return sound right? Also booking for dussledorf to hannover return, and that comes out at €18 and yet it takes 5 times longer??

Your price from Hannover to Wolfsburg return seems very cheap, unless you are getting a reduction of some kind (student/OAP) or are getting some kind of deal because you are in the UK. The standard price I've been working on is the Lower Saxony ticket, which should be 26 Euros for 2 people and gives you unlimited travel on local trains in that state on one day (so you are not allowed to use the InterCity services). Other than that, the cheapest price I can see for IC trains on that day is 55 Euros and that's hoping you can jump on the train straight after the final whistle.

Haha, The players will probably stay there again, they shot the price right up was only £80 the week before the draw. I think they changed the name after our last adventure there and they don't want blues staying again haha. Avoid staying up all night in the reception area lol

The irish bar was only open till 2 on the Friday & Saturday, so not sure about midweek... there is a couple of clubs but then again depends if they will be open plus one of them you need to give in your passport, you get given a little card and each time you buy a drink they stamp it. On way out you pay for your drinks, few lads got massively overcharged last time we was there.

Still looking forward to it however, there's a little park close by the stadium with goals up

Note to self - Add beach ball to checklist!

Thanks for that! Gone back on now and the prices are totally different to before. Think we will have to walk!

I'm getting the inter city direct, 30 minutes, leaves Hannover 13.30 arrives 14.00 return 22.23hrs, 41.00 euros.

Yeah sorry, didn't make it clear, I was talking about prices for two people - I see your connections at 75 Euros for two people.
so it would be €75 for two people, or €26 on Lander ticket?
How far is it from the ground to the station - would it be possible to get the 21.14 back?

7 o'clock kick off, maybe a 5 minute delay, five minutes extra time, match finishes 20.55, you would be lucky to be out of the stadium by 21.05 if in home supporters section and would never make it, if in away section you will be held back for at least 20 mins. We were in home section in Lille and because there were so many blues we were held back 15 mins.

in the away section, so looks like we will have to go for the 22.34 option. Too big a saving for the two of us
