Mixed feelings on this. I think he’s a quality player but does he fit the Everton psyche? I mean he looks too languid/lazy and that’s one thing we never take well to (not saying he is, he just looks it..) scapegoat central imo.
Out of interest can we think of anyone with that type of style that was a success here? Give me a Graveson any day!

I can only base my opinion on his 2016 Euro performances where he was brilliant.

He'll end up in Italy or Spain

Silva has managed in the premiership and has managed Carvalho in the past, it is likely that the signing of this player could be his suggestion and that he feels he could do well in England.

It is decisions like this which will decide if Silva can be a success.
If , as a result of the unrest at Sporting Lisbon we can get him free or for a reduced fee it is hard to argue against it.
