Im not sure mate, if it wasnt for his son I would say no. But his son will be massive pull, the best news I could hear is that his wife and son have moved over here, but while they are still in Spain its not great.

It all comes down to how we do this season really. If we win a trophy or finish in the top four then I can see him staying, he loves the club and if he sees progression then he's got no reason to leave.

I'm still hoping we win the Europa League.

Think he'll be off to Spain, if not next season then the season after for sure. He said himself he'll finish his career back there. I think it'll be a mistake as he flopped last time he went back from Rangers and he's settled and loved the way he deserves here

Dont think there is a chance that we would let him enter the last year of his contract and not get a big fee for him if im honest.

4 reasons why i think he will return to Spain:

- His contract wil have a year to run this summer

- Better tax rate in terms of wages and sterling isnt what it used to be compared to the Euro.

- He has stated he has wanted to return to Spain at some point.

- His family now that he is a father. (We sholud Miky Jr signed up now).

I think he'll stay for a little while, he's very loyal to Moyes and the fans. Must be frustrating tho, he should be competing in the Champions League really.

Why are we worried about the transfer risk of a player who will have been out a full year by the time he gets back on the pitch?

During the summer of 2007 he signed a new five-year contract, extending his stay at Goodison until 2012.[4]
He's still got 3 years left mate, agree with the rest though

If any of our players perform this year, then yes, it is likely that other sides will take an interest.
As for Arteta, the top 4 already have very strong midfielders, though if they did come in for our players, I suspect they would get their men.
Arteta would have a better chance of playing for Spain if he joined a top club, and I feel he would take that option with both hands.

Arteta will want to move to spain eventually, and I will not begrudge him that. At least he'll have a decent reason (family).

However thats not for another year, so lets quit worrying

Think all of them (Arteta, Jags, Pienaar, Cahill, Heitinga, Saha) will all be transfer speculation fodder. Don't think teams will spend like they did this year (which wasn't much to begin with) but for quality, they'll pay.

Troubling with Pienaar is his current negotiations which appear to be dead in the water (silent at least). Think he and Arteta will both be off to Spain unfortunately.

Please Please Please Lets not lose anybody else, its Too easy to say well look at the money we made on him ?we got to go out and replace him thats gonna cost, and if there were players as good you would be paying silly money. i.e fellini £15 mil reasonable lad but not £15 mill worth sorry.
