We lost because we dont have anything going forward pinear for instance gets just outside the box does he look to shoot? no he is looking for baines every time teams no that what he is going to do. Also on a big game like that you dont change your goal keeper especialy one who carnt catch the ball and looks a bag of nerves we had a chance to go to wembley and we blew it again how long can this go on thanks bill ken for all your support in January you really are a true evertonian.

Wouldn't say we looked most likely to win but it was a very even game up to that penalty. However I'd say I always felt that they would take there chance and we most likely wouldn't.

After the final whistle was blown and the final score read 4-1, Arsenal fans and pundits etc were going wild about how well they played. And make no mistake about it Arsenal played very well- Ozil, Ox, Gibbs, Arteta (by his new rubbish standard), Giroud- people in red and white were very pleased at the Arsenal performance that allowed them to overcome a very decent Everton.
Obviously we were lacking that bit of quality, our team doesn't seem to know how to finish anymore, chances go amiss, McCarthy and Barry are likely fatigued, etc etc, but at the point where the match was played the major reason we lost was because Arsenal were just much better than us. And they should be, with their wages, revenue, money spent.
I have no doubt we'll be better next season.
