Why do everton continue to lose away to certain teams

I mean if you take random utter dross like Southampton. In the last 10 years alone they have won at
Man Utd. - Twice
Chelsea. - Twice
Liverpool. - Twice
Arsenal - Twice
Spurs. - Once

How about an even worse side like Crystal Palace? Well in the last 10 years they have won at
Man Utd. - Twice
Chelsea - Twice
Liverpool - Three times
Arsenal - Once
Spurs - Once.

To paint our record as just something that happens to teams outside the elite is utter nonsense.
 Those are very sobering stats. When on earth are things going to change? Crap managers/spineless players/losing mentality/bad luck/dodgy kits/VAR/Voodoo curses. The list of possible causes is endless.

I am sure it's why horse face over at the pit has them going from the opening game. Get a few wins under your belt and you're in contention from the start.
Momentum and belief has got them so many points this year, (yes they’ve got quality) but they’re not always the best team on the pitch but that mental winning attitude gets them over the line.

We have got the manager to change but at the moment we dont have the players,

Unfortunately Brands is the man who we are dependant on to buy leaders, but he has failed to buy 1 in 2 seasons so I wouldnt hold your breath.

Our players don’t fit as a team, no fluidity at all in our play. Defenders are average, midfielders are poor and playing out of position. We don’t have Central defenders who can play out and we don’t have midfielders who can receive a ball and look forward and play killer passes.
We overplay/overpass far too much.
Ancelotti has tried to change it but he doesn’t have the players available, and he does make the odd starting team at times.

When was the last time we even had a “must win” game?

Not since the heady days of Bobby’s first season.

Since then we have been mediocre, hanging around mid table with no really important league games at the business end of the season.

Sad.
Agreed, which is why I find it hard to take any positives other than Gomes returning from yesterday’s game.

It just feels like the same old story every time, we have a good run, get a must win game come up, get our hopes up, but lose the important game.

Let’s say we beat United next game, to put us back in the EL running. Can we trust Everton not to collapse vs Chelsea away then the RS? I just don’t think we can, but even if the must win game was Norwich at Goodison I wouldn’t be confident. It just seems with Everton that the second there is any pressure to get a result in a game we crumble which is a much bigger problem than not beating the big teams away for me, as the two issues seem to be inexorably linked

True. It pains me to admit it, but once you start winning, it what's expected. We need to get there. It'll take time, but it MUST happen. Over to Ancelotti and the team.

Nobody can put their finger on exactly why manager after manager has failed to turn the corner and make Everton a serious challenger in away games against the so-called top clubs. Now and then there is an occasional exception. Can Carlo do it? Don't bet on it.

Our record away to arsenal, liverpool, chelsea and man utd is abysmal in the last 25 years+ and it's getting to the point now where questions have to be asked. On numerous times within that period Everton have been in a commanding position in those fixtures sometimes even with 2 goal leads but never seem to win. I think we are better than Arsenal but yesterday they score with virtually every decent chance they get and we miss a load of great chances. When even Ancelotti is struggling to stop this rot of a run, it begs the question how does it keep happening that we continue to lose these fixtures and add to the terrible record against these clubs. Will it ever change? Liverpool kids and then this weak arsenal team. Is it purely a mentality problem? I'm not sure because the likes of Cahill, pienaar, jagielka etc were all strong minded and had the same problems.

Like certain teams lose to use, everyone has they’re hoodoo

its not as if we are much better at home to those sides though is it? no win at home to Liverpool OR Spurs since Moyes left, Man U have recorded more wins at Goodison than any other away ground in the prem and Arsenal have thrashed us up here many many times.
