Who would you buy from potential relegation clubs?

Oh Sarr all day over Hughes.

Rice can't pass under pressure. No point in signing a player like that.

Whenever i have seen Watford play, Hughes always stood out, not seen much of Sarr, what's his injury? Think Sarr could be another Bolasie.

When i have seen West Ham play Rice is always doing the sort of job that we need someone to do, he's young enough that i think his passing under pressure could improve, and other than that his game isn't too bad. Certainly beter than the [Poor language removed] behind him ha

Will Hughes is decent, but do we really want decent players? We have enough of them.

Not every African winger is like Bolasie lol. He's rapid and a decent goal scorer. I'm not sure I would sign him, but as far as Watford players go he is near the top.

When you say Rice has the attributes we need what do you mean? Because I see his strengths being when the other team has the ball and I think we need someone good with it, which is pretty much the opposite.

Always hard to tell if a relegated player is a piece of sweet corn in a massive turd or turd themselves. He’ll more than often a player is just bang average but their crap teammates make them look great by comparison.

Stopping counter attacks and turning over play. Someone with defensive positional sense.

Think we can do far better than him by searching outside relegation fodder.

Top manager. Will keep Bournemouth up, yet again. Working miracles on the south coast, still young and a bright future in the game.

What was my 'shout' about Joelinton? I remember saying he had got a couple of important G/A's for the barcodes, but nothing else.

Pellegrini is still a good manager, in spite of the West Ham debacle.
Eddie Howe doing a great job on shoestring is s myth. He’s spent plenty in the last 5yrs and they still can’t defend
He’s the new Roberto

You haven’t though, you’re still on here trying to make a case for players like Diop, Rice and Haller even though they’ve absolutely stunk the place out all season.

I’ve been wrong about plenty and have admitted it, I was badly wrong about Ronald Koeman for instance, also Calvert-Lewin is proving me wrong this season which is great. I was also right about Pellegrini and West Ham.
You've really got a thing about West Ham, haven't you?

Diop is a quality player in a bad team. Ake is the same. Both have admirers at the top clubs. In fact, both Chelsea and United were willing to pay £40m for Diop in the summer according to credible sources. Ake will 100% leave Bournemouth for a top six club in the summer.

As I said in my post, Haller and Rice are better players than they've showed. I don't think that's a controversial opinion. The likes of Gueye and Wijnaldum have stunk the place out in relegated sides in recent seasons and gone on to do well. I'm not sure if either will step up to play for a top six club but they are better than the bottom half of the Premier League.
United were so willing to drop 40m on him that they went out and spent double that on a better player at the same position?

I really like Diop. Wanted him before he went to West Ham :(

Just one point to bring up...

Due to the homegrown player rules and the cost of English players being at a premium...it could make a lot of sense to pinpoint those English players from relegated sides.

If theyve stood out as being able to play in the premier league and with some potential to further improve + fit into our club then i think thats where the real value lies when signing players from relegated sides.
