Selling Baines and Stones has got to be the dumbest thing I've read on this forum. Might as well suggest we cash in on Lukaku and Barkley.

McGeady is the only player I'd like to see gone. Not even arsed if he is replaced if the fee is put toward an improved contract for Galloway or one of the other young players.

I read that like your arms are folded and your hats on backwards and your Mums trying to make you eat Brocolli / sell Baines and Stones.

McGeady!

There is no way at all that he will get a game now if you look at our midfield options,

Mirallas
Barkley
Geri
Naismith (Would class as a midfielder)

There is no way he will get a game over these four.

Or at least let him go out on loan.

McGeady will go to Sunderland or Newcastle I reckon.

I wouldn't get shut of anyone this january, we need to add a sexy playmaker to the squad too.

An interesting thread, but the options are all messed up. There are players at the club that should leave because they have no playing time, and when they do play they bring down the overall quality of the team.

These players shouldn't be mixed up with obvious 'potential players' such as Besic.

Furthermore including Baines because he might be getting in the way of the young players' development is bizarre. He is at the top of his game, a world class talent.

The thread is titled 'who should we get shut of in January'. Are you really including John Stones? We just survived the mother of all transfer battles to keep him. He is the absolute future of the club and everything Everton wants to represent. He will go to the very top of the game. Why on earth would any Evertonian want to 'get shut of him'?

But answering the question in it's true spirit, I wouldn't be too sad if McGeady moved on. And this speaks volumes for Kone and the start to the season he has had, that after 9 pages no one wants him out.

Mcgeady, Gibson and Howard either not good enough or not fit enough.

If decent money came in for Naisy again id let him go too, assuming a replacement was forthcoming. Same goes for Kone. I wouldn't let both go mind.

The day T.How leaves I'll be full of joy
