Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Note to Zatara. Not getting involved with any stupid comments with you. Your opinion counts. But I’m just going to say , what’s your Ha- ha supposed to mean. You think that it was funny that we play awful football. Some of the worse football I’ve seen from an Everton team. Or did you find it funny that we were involved in a relegation battle last season , and only survived by that win over Palace. Or do you find in funny that we have played most of this season with nothing up front. And still concede goals. Or is it funny that we sit 4th from bottom , with every chance of going bottom , if we don’t beat Wolves. And all this under Lampards watch. Ha-ha. All very funny.
Wonder if you will be all ha-ha-ha if Lampard gets us relegated?
I’ve said more than I intended. Sorry folks about that…punters don’t need to like my comments , that’s fine, but I don’t get what ha -ha is supposed to mean , when trying to make a comment about this awful season.

Anyhow , happy Christmas to all. And just let’s hope that we can beat Wolves. Up the Toffees.

Agree but lets not wait until the end of Jan, 4 defeats, more bad buys.Leave a mess for another manager to try to clear up.
Might be to late if results also go against us.
Frahad Moshiri has to take control, act after all its his club, his money.
I know he has nothing without the 32,000 who turn up , 3000away.500,000fan base.
As terrible as he has been on a football decision making level, listening to the wrong people.
He has to act very very soon if points font start to arrive.6 home points, maybe 1away.
Maybe a win at Utd.
That sets us up to improve, welcome a couple of forwards, a midfielder, center back.
A new manager if Frank leaves.

Thats the start wee need to 2023, but i fear its not going to be that way.

Didnt notice this, you should tag by adding an @ first e.g @The Trinity.

To answer your question, I think this thread is laughable. Not only laughable, but ridiculous.

No manager would be able to turn this squad into a winning one with zero attacking threat.

Lampards remit was to save the club from relegation = Success.

Now Id assume its to build a new squad with Thelwell and gradually get us back towards the top.

That doesnt happen after 15 games without a centre forward and having Demarai Gray as first choice lol

Have to back the manager at this time.

If he keeps the ppg he's gotten so far during his reign he will get sacked. Not a fan can save him there.

Is fourth bottom really the best any manager can do at the current time at Everton?

There isn't a club in the country - even those with far fewer resources than us - who would accept that assertion for themselves.

I don't rate Lampard, but I would hold on to him for as long as I sincerely believe he is getting the very best out of the resources he has had and has. Right now, I don't believe he is doing that. I think we could be 11th or 12th without too much surgery. The only thing prompting me to persevere with him despite my misgivings is a couple of wins could have us up to those positions, so I accept where we are. However, should we start back with a home loss to Wolves, well, I really don't see the point in holding fire any longer. Those quick wins to get us back up the table would be farther away than ever if we are succumbing to a side as poor as Wolves. The writing will be on the wall. Lampard will know he has to win that.

Tragic thing is, lose to Wolves and we will keep him for city as no new manager is getting points there. If only we just had a massive break and results that would have justified a sacking ?
