Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Based on what exactly?? The man has never managed a club with expectations (whether they’re correct or not), never managed a club where the fans are demanding, never managed a team that is constant pressure.

The fact that he managed in a very small town, where the fans couldn’t really care less allowed him a lot more freedom, is not the same as coming in here

It’s absolutely bizarre that fans make these strange state based off no evidence
Moshiri wants us to stay in the prem for obvious financial reasons, naming rights, sponsorships etc . If a big Sam type I e. Dyche, can keep us up he will be thinking along them lines rather than a foreign coach with no prem experience.

The point is; what gives you the impression that Dyche can? That’s my point

Fat Sam had built a reputation from going into teams and doing a job over a short period. Dyche, like Moyes at us, has been responsible over time for implementing what he wants.

There’s no evidence whatsoever that shows he can come in and do that over a very short period. It just fans putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 15

Poch is the standout name but i doubt he'd do much with this squad.
The safest pair of hands would be Moyes and it kills me to say that as I haven't forgiven him for the way he left but the man knows how to drag a poor team kicking and screaming up the league. Did it with us first time round and he's done it again with West Ham who were in the same position as us a couple of years ago when he returned.
Ultimately whoever comes in is working with the same constraints, with the same group of poor players. Nothing changes until the clowns at the top leave. They've lowered the standards at this once great club to a point where they simply can't get any lower.
If we somehow managed to bring in a Poch or Tuchel, like Carlo they'd be running for the exit within a season.

Well we could have lumped West Brom in with that lot till they bought Brucey in who took them from 4th to 23rd in 6 months. Some times the Manager has to take the blame.
Yeah agree, that’s why I said most clubs come back straight away just due to the fact they have better players.

I tell you now, if we sack Lampard Kenwright will want Rooney. He won't be able to resist the fairy-tale narrative of the boyhood blue saving the club from relegation and leading us into the new stadium.

Just got the press release:

Bill Kenwright Productions Presents: "Rooney Tunes", "Blue Brothers", and "The Prodigal Returns" - a staged trilogy recounting the life story of the legendary Wayne Rooney, Everton Football Club's new manager.

That's one I really don't want.
Imagine the circus around him.
More than likely start off OK,
Then be in the papers making a show of himself again.
Anyway does nothing but talk about wanting to be Unt boss so let him go there.
Did a half decent job at Derby under the circumstances.
But still a big No from me.

Though tbf, Moyes did just that - 20yrs ago.
But that was then and this is now.

Throw all the names about you like, the possibles, the probables, the long shots, the impossibles from various wish lists.
It still comes down to stick or twist - that's the good news

The bad news is - Moshiri and/or Kenwright will do the deciding
