If as he says "winning football" I suspect the vast majority will, including the doubters (and I include myself in that category in fairness)! However if it goes the other way - well who knows?

....these threads, though.

Pathetic and embarrassing.

Particularly as nobody knows whom anyone else is in real life so for all we know the "never again" brigade might never have even set foot inside The Park

One of my best pals and matchgoing chum declared to all and sundry, in Bellaciour Square back in Lyon, that he was finished if we hire Sam.

I was on the phone to him earlier to see if I could have his ticket for my daughter tomorrow.

I was coddling him on of course because I knew what the answer would be....lol

He'll be there

And apologies in advance to them as feel insulted.....I think the vast majority of these Refusniks proclaiming how they are staying away on account of Sam rarely go to games.

Because it us extremely hard for habitual returnees to kick the habit on a match day, no matter who is in charge :pint2:

Looking at the poll, confirms we all want mediocrity.

Jesus I give up

This isn't a poll about whether we support Allardyce. It's a poll about whether we go to the game to support Everton, and for me that means supporting the players, yes of course I care who's sitting on the bench and who's pulling the strings at our club (has Walsh been sacked yet ?) but 99% of the time when I'm at the game it's the players that I'm cheering.

I go to the game to support my team, I take the rough with the smooth. Suppose that we did end up in a relegation battle or go down, I don't see that happening, but if it did I would hope that fans would rally behind the club, not stay home sulking.

Of course I'm renewing our three tickets, I have been going to Goodison Park for 42 years, we have had nothing but medicority since the early 90's, Sam is going to do a great job for us, then I expect a few of the posters who have been posting this rubbish will come crawling back from under a rock somewhere claiming that they support Sam all along.

47 years as a STH, i survived the Walter Smith era so Sam holds no fears for me.
Support Everton not the manager.
Indeed, don't forget the moyes latter years, the turgid plop served up by El fraudo in his last 2 seasons, and of course koeman's clueless formations. Its in the blood so its very very hard to just stop going unless say you cannot afford it, or family circs, illness, or living away etc. Players on the pitch have my support so yes I'll be renewing.....and being an auld grumpy git I am on the concession rate for S/Ts lollol:cool:
