For where we are now, Allardyce all day.

I loved Martinez ( until it all went wrong ), but he failed here, and at least I have confidence in Allardyce to steady the ship, whereas if Bobby was in charge today, i'd be worried about getting relegated.

I just feel miserable watching this. I've never rated Allardyce, I detest his style of football, I find his track record a catalogue of unmitigated failure spun by the media as success, and I just want to get to 40 points, bin off the greedy media myth, and pretend none of this ever happened.

But we all know if he scrapes us to about 12th, his PR campaign will go into overdrive and he'll still be here next year. Sad times.

Wow. This actually exists and amazingly Martinez is winning...

Allardyce by a country mile, and I don't even like Allardyce.

I thoroughly dislike both enormously. But I'm always going to side with the one who actually tries to put the ball in the other teams net.

Allardyce does. He just doesn't mind if it's one and it ends 1-0.

Martinez would be delighted with scoring seven... even if the opposition scores fifteen.

One approach leads to results, the other doesn't.

I can't accept the lack of intent in the last 4 games. It's disgraceful and shouldn't be acceptable.

If this club had any balls left (and it doesn't) then they would tell Sam he plays to win home games at Goodison, and if that doesn't suit him then cheerio. We aren't a championship team. I just watched Bristol City outplay United but we played like cowards. Not acceptable.

Martinez.

First 18 months = great football; great results...even the last 18 months were superior to this muck.

EVERYONE knows it.

And Moyes was 'kin rubbish as well. We all know that too.

It's been done to death, but the only reason Martinez had a good first season was because our defense was drilled back then. From the first day since Martinez took over the defensive worries were neglected, and are still plaguing us to this day.
