Kaduna Nigeria, birthplace of Daniel Amokachi.

Such a legend that they put a massive A in the middle of the town to represent the surname of the great man himself.

Some of this may not be true...

Actually he said he was from Groko which doesn't actually seem to exist after extensive googling. Maybe its a district of Kaduna.

I could really go for a Unifoam mattress right now.
 
Was just about to post this one.

My dad grew up in the same street as Alan Ball in Walkden. They used to have a kick about regularly in the street and amazingly he still used to play with his mates in the street after the world cup win.

He wouldn't ever being his winners medal out though. Don't blame him in Salford to be honest...

...great story. I did have the pleasure of holding Alan Ball’s 1970 League Winners medal, thanks to his Dad who was in Everton Supporters Club after the West Brom game.
