San Diego, California (USA)
For the American toffees it is famously known as "America's finest city". It is truly a slice of heaven on earth with sunny & 75 degree weather almost all year round. It is the type of place where the slow pace of life consumes you in a refreshing type of way. As a New Yorker, I am accustomed to a fast paced east coast grind mindset environment. In my multiple stays in SD, I always catch myself enjoying the moment rather than moving to a new adventure or location. It is a city that does not feel like a "city" metropolis as it is full of top tier beaches, unique neighborhoods & divine Mexican food. In my first 2 week stay there, I recall i had a lot of laundry to do after my first few days of exploring. I recall saying to myself "I'm gonna go to the beach instead to enjoy the sun, some waves & a burrito with a cold one. I'll my laundry tomorrow probably.." It's that type of place where one can easily become a professional lounger without resisting the urge to be "productive" for the day. It does have a laundry list of cons such as high cost of living, outrages gas prices & electricity bill, geographically limited by the dessert to the other major cities to the east and always overlooked it's bigger more popular LA brother. Everyday can warp into one big one with the weather being so damn consistent and pleasant as there is a lack of true seasons.
