I wouldn't want anyone else in charge other than Moyes.

Unless you are a fly on the wall at Goodison, you will never really know exactly what Moyes has to deal with. I suppose that works against him, coz we all assume he thinks he's playing football manager for laugh.

Anyone who thinks Moyes is 100% blameless for our performances either this year, or last year for that matter is being far too protective.

He is the manager, and the buck stops with him, whether it's a 6-1 defeat against Arsenal or the team bus breaking down on the M62.

When we have success, he is the one that gets the applause.
When we lose, it is he that gets the stick.

You can't have it both ways.

Directly, we can't blame Moyes for our injuries, but indirectly he should be taking a very close look at what is happening on the training pitch, and physiotherapy room, and why it is Everton that are having so many injuries.

We can blame him for the preseason unrest, and we can blame him for 2 bad starts to a season in succession.

We can blame him for the way he picks the team, and the way he rotates the squad, and his lack of ideas when it comes to turning games around.

We can blame him for not getting more players in to bolster the squad like he did with Neil.

That's his job, and the buck stops with him.

He can only do so much with the bare bones of a squad though, so though we can blame him, we must also show a little sympathy towards his position.

The guy, and the players he manages earn an absolute fortune to do what they do, so no way will I paint them all whiter than white like some do.

Its not difficult there is no other reason - injuries and the ability to feild a consistnet line up - there really is no other reason - you can talk about tactics preperation etc its not relevent for me, thing is we have had a small pool to choose from becuase of injury since the season started - there is only so much you can go to the well before it begins to run dry and your options become limited due to whats available.

Simples really.

Moyes takes his share of the blame for this. He takes the praise when it's dished out, so he should take a slap when he's organised things badly. Injuries aside, we should be doing better. Bolton, Stoke, Wolves, Burnley are matches we should be able to win, regardless of injuries.

Personally, i'm 100% behind David Moyes, he can only work with what he's got, but today's result was a watershed for me, my patience has snapped( for now) I honestly feel like i'm on the brink of giving it all up, and that's hard for me, maybe tomorrow i'll feel differently...

I always give up mate, its the Everton way, hate for a few days, then I see a picture of my Mikel and my heart skips a beat, then its back in love.

Bad defeat to a poor Bolton side. Sure, we have a massive injury list but we are Everton...Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. It seems that anything but a win will do these days. Wonder what the excuse will be this time?...'Nuff said.

I agree, no defeat against any Bolton side under any circumstances can be seriously justified.

We are even struggling to achieve mediocracy,i'm normally a positive type but today i'm awash with sheer disallusionment ( if that's a word)
