Oh it's all opinions. For me it just shows that the general public are happy for whimsical music that has no heart, soul or meaning.
How else can you explain the countless clones tuning into Corrie, Eastenders and Emmerdale each night?
Chewing Gum for the eyes and ears.

Gabriella Climi ??? Are you messin ' ???
She's , .... ( input as applicable . )
SHE WOULD , however , get it , as they are wont to say .
If thats what you want from your music thats fine.
But when it comes down to it music is purely that, so if someone enjoys listening to it is has just as much value as anything else.
Whether thats some stupid wannabe cockney annoying old cow who wants to capitalise on a current fad to become rich or some hardworking DIY local band in it for the love of.
The end product is still the same : music.
And if its good, ie people enjoy listening to it then thats all that matters.
Just reading some of the comments on that Gabriella Cilmi video:
"She is sponsored by masons/illuminati. The triangles are just too obvious.
Another shame in the music industry."
Did make me laugh.![]()
She's, .... Australian?
She's, ... 18 years old
And She's ... far more talented than Allen or Kate Nash.
Gabriella Cilmi is only 18? That means she was just 16 or 17 when she released Sweet About Me? That was about 2 years ago, wasn't it?
Oh dear. Oh deary deary dear me......
/formats hard drive
I dont see the problem here?
She was on the Alan Titchmarsh show the other day and her aussie accent made me imagine her to be some pick up driving beer drinking shrimp tossing bloke.
Was very offputting.

That's a wonderful description.
Your dead wrong though, music is music and there be loads you won't like but you can't label it as crap on that basis.
Just because you sit there listening to Mozart in your quilted smoking jacket lid.
