Even if they do.... the fact that we are proactively buying (even if against a sale(s)) is a massive step in the right direction. Clearly we have identified targets and are smoothly negotiating with them and their clubs. This, to me, is tremendous improvement.

We have time for these boys to work themselves into the team rather than panic buying in late August.

I'm gonna be honest I'm "meh" over the players. Now I'm made up we are showing a statement of intent but I'm yet to be excited.....is it the last two decades...that I'm miserable and sick of getting my heart broke by broken dreams....maybe a bit of both.
