Would anyone else like to see us take a look at Haji Wright from Coventry? I have not watched a lot of his games but whenever I have watched him he looks to be a talented attacker who can play on the left and upfront. His record in the Championship is excellent and he might fancy the step up if Coventry fail to win promotion this season.

So far I've suggested Adams, Sesko, Mbeumo and Cunha and you have said all those suggestions are hilarious. These are all realistic (somewhat) and quality players (somewhat). The three comments above this by comparison are suggesting Ronaldo, Salah or Lukaku

How are Sesko, Mbuemo and Cunha realistic as they've all just joined Man Utd for silly money which we don't have. And Che Adams is abysmal, surely you've seen him play to realise that?

Should've, could've, would've... Oh well.

Bet you though, if we had signed him then, we would have 'Evertoned' him up, and by we would have probably sold him to a second division side...

a very , very interesting suggestion. Argyle just bought him from Port Vale for £1.2 million. Their fans regard him as the most complete striker they've seen since Paul Mariner ( remember him ?) . I've only seen him play twice and his movement , physicality and eye for a goal is exceptional ............at D1 level.

Is he worth a punt ? I'd say yes definately for one reason. He's rumoured to have a £2 million buy out clause . His wages will be way less than £10k a week. So, obviously its a massive step up but what the hell have you lost if it doesn't go wrong ?

Provided you don't put him on nuts wages a Championship team will take him off our hands if he fails at PL level.

Only problems is - he's already played for Vale and Argyle this season so a transfer in January is a no no.

He is improving as he climbs the leagues.Before Port Vale he was at Aldershot in the National League where I saw him a few times. He was completely unplayable. 20+ goals a season.
