What striker would you sign?

Lorent Tolaj
a very , very interesting suggestion. Argyle just bought him from Port Vale for £1.2 million. Their fans regard him as the most complete striker they've seen since Paul Mariner ( remember him ?) . I've only seen him play twice and his movement , physicality and eye for a goal is exceptional ............at D1 level.

Is he worth a punt ? I'd say yes definately for one reason. He's rumoured to have a £2 million buy out clause . His wages will be way less than £10k a week. So, obviously its a massive step up but what the hell have you lost if it doesn't go wrong ?

Provided you don't put him on nuts wages a Championship team will take him off our hands if he fails at PL level.

Only problems is - he's already played for Vale and Argyle this season so a transfer in January is a no no.

I know Woltemade was completely out of our price range but I understand why he was targeted as a forward. He's the type we should be going for. Someone who is capable of playing football on the deck and interchanging with KDH, Ndiaye and Grealish.
He was the one I wanted and just bagged his third since joining not sure if it was intentional like the flick but hes had a great start to his Newcastle career

We need a gun for hire. And one who is available immediately.
I know Gabriel Jesus has inury issues - but I'd certainly give him a seasons deal.
If nothing else - Barry will learn from someone who definitely knows where the goal is.

Honestly, anyone who can hold the ball up would transform this team. Whenever it gets played into the center forward we lose possession. I can accept them not winning hoofs up front, but simple ball control, holding it up and laying it off is surely the most basic of traits for a centre forward. A fit DCL would be ideal but I don't think he exists.
