As @LostLegend said, woke is a term that has been co-opted by the right. It basically has replaced political correctness and being a social justice warrior as the new favourable term. I’m sure it will be replaced by something else relatively soon.

Specifically on the trans part of the debate, I would have more faith in your claims that you are ok with trans rights if you didn’t say things like the bolded bit here.

My old boss is 'transexual'/'transvestite'/ whatever it's perceived to be these days, he had 5 of his 'transsexual' friends raping his drugged wife, while he sat in the corner of the hotel room while he watched eating cake.

You’ve clearly made your decision on the subject and have made multiple slurs while seemingly having done no research if you don’t know the difference between being transsexual and a transvestite. But you did also you quote marks which suggest you don’t believe in the terms being used. Also the fact you can’t produce any stats to back up your statements about sexual abuse by trans people tells me you’ve read a post somewhere and not actually looked into the numbers yourself.

If I had such a strongly held view I would sure as hell make sure I had studies and data to back it up.
