Hopefully a coma.
AFAIK it's just being aware of the discrimination of minority groups coined originally by African Americans. To "stay Woke" is to be aware of potential discrimination happening around you.
Not sure why anyone would be against that.
That said, anyone who's spent any time in CA will know the word WOKE is catnip for bellends.
Amazing how many of them you can smoke out by just asking what the word means.
I usually attribute peoples angry use of this word to be a form of guilt or self awareness of their own low opinions.

Would even the concept of 'woke' (whatever it may actually be) exist if not for social media?
Is it not indicative of people having too much time on their hands and an instant platform to express their opinion (with a profound feeling that their opinion matters and the world should know about it).
The actual message gets amplified to the extreme (on both 'sides') and the 'debate ' becomes toxic.
Example -
I'd guess (or I'd like to think) the average person doesn't particularly care whether a man, who they don't know, has transitioned to a woman.
now social media take the story, pump out extreme versions like a male power lifter transitioning and competing as a woman. The far left claim 'yes, that's her right ', the far right then claim 'look, this is the liberals taking the world to hell in a hand cart'. The average man thinks 'well, i don't really care that much but it seems a bit daft that a 18 stone fella has been allowed to compete against women'
The far left shout 'facist' at the average man and Farage/Robinson and the other 'despicables' shout 'see, you can't even express your opinion, join us'

Guess people who adopt childen shouldn't call themselves parents, less they want to be abused by bigots like yourself who will try and hide their views behind a false devotion to biology.
The basis that it is a very selective and limited response to portray a pespective on a far larger picture
Well when you’re investigating something I’d argue it’s extremely important to look at every aspect to be honest.
