I don't think I'll ever understand this point of view, it's a focus on negative energy, and me being all psychonaut avoids this kind of guff. Still, I'll fight to the death for you to freely believe this.

Fair enough. It might sound weird but its defo how I feel. I reckon most of my kopite mates would feel the same if the role was reversed.

We still love one another as hom brothers but the game is the game and I would make their life a misery if we won the league so I should expect it back I suppose.

my Nana's a kopite but I've avoided having them as mates tbf. Not being from Liverpool has distanced me from the significance of the rivalry.

A poll thread would be interesting, which asks not just this question we're discussing, but also asks to confirm whether you're from Liverpool or outside. I reckon the results would confirm the more local you are, the more the rivalry dominates thinking.
