What if Liverpool won the title?

Tbh, Everton fans are as hard to find in my country as it'd be digging for gold in Liverpool. Practically none.
Fans here are mostly of United. Then Liverpool, Chelsea/Arsenal.

I once read a post on here, that back in the days, when Liverpool won their first European cup it seems?
Everton fans were at the parade too, celebrating the truimph of Liverpool, as a city of the European cup.

I'm genuinely curious to know if Everton fans would be glad that at least, if they had to, their city would be winning the league title, rather than say City/Chelsea who are just challenging for the title, because of extravagance from their billionaire owners.

You seem sincere enough so I'm gonna spare you me being a tit to you.

No I wouldn't be happy but most of my family and friends would. Then they would rub it in for eternity. I'd still love them but begrudge it a little. A crap Liverpool makes my laugh infinitely easier/enjoyable.
 
I am A scouser , and no I´d rather anyone won it then Liverpool. Because we would never ever ever hear the last of it . I do not think you will win it by the way . People will suss you out as the long ball specialists you are and just sit deep against you. Your luck won´t last . You´re not that good . Hope you lose every game from now on and Beaver boy does something stupid again , Sturridge is a disgrace I´ll have to stop my dander is getting up. I hate liverpool fc . Classless outfit.
 
Thing is, people go on about the money and all, but I think the main reason people hate Chelsea is the amount of pure bells in their team and general set-up. Arsenal less so, but they do too (Wilshere particularly). This is multiplied by 10 for the RS. However, I personally have no problem with City. Their team seems genuinely full of sound people (Aguero, Kompany, Silva, Toure, Hart, Negredo, Navas, Milner etc), so in that respect, I have always wlled them to win the title.

Pellegrini seems a sound lid as well.
 
I really don't think it will happen.I think their own hubris will prove to be their downfall.I would be worried if i were an RS to see Jon Flannagan mouthing off in the back of the paper.Their losing the run of themselves.In a way that win at Old Trafford was their title, champions league and world cup all wrapped up in one package.
 
there is no circumstance I would want Everton to lose.

Not to shift a crap manager, nor to the detriment of the RS. A crap manager will be replaced eventually (see Walker, Smith) and I don't care about the red side that much.

No mate I'm sorry, but actively wishing worse for Everton to spite them lot is so small minded and parochial. Just can't make sense of that mindset at all.
