What do you do that's everyday weird?

Spitting when I see a magpie. Can be a bit messy though when driving my car.

And using my missus' toothbrush to clean any mould I see developing around the bath seal. In my defence though I do clean it afterwards with Dettol before putting it back in the rack so I do care for her dental hygiene.

Does he have a separate towel for his toothbrush? I usually have 2 towels for my use in the bathroom, 1 for body, 1 for hands/face.

I wouldn’t be comfortable drying my toothbrush with the either of the one I use on my face, or the one that dries my bollocks with.

Missing out on all the flavour. Defo weird behaviour.

I made very good friends with some magpies a couple of years ago. They'd even come and eat worms etc off my hand. Mrs B and my kids thought I was bonkers but, well, not always easy to make new friends so I made the most of it.

As I get older I have an absolute fear of looking like Dennis Healey. ( an old Labour politician) for you youngsters.

I shave my eyebrows twice a week.

Do you make your own toothbrush and then construct a solar panel from old corona lids and discarded pallets to dry it with. (I hope I haven't set you thinking now).
I dry my toothbrush on a towel. My Mum told me to do it as a kid and I just kept doing it. However, if a mate came round unexpectedly I definitely would not go back upstairs to dry it though. From your story, that is the weird part.

that is exactly what I was thinking. I rinse the head while it's running to clean it, and then dry the handle..
but for that to still be on my mind when answering the door, nah. Though with some of the things I do, I can't understand why he would go to the door before he's finished..

Perhaps it's a euphemism;
"I'm err, just going upstairs to err, dry the old toothbrush." Leaves....whistling..

Not daily, but I make sure things are in the cupboards the right way round.
I give away so much perfectly good/new stuff because I can't handle clutter ( Which wouldn't be classed as clutter in anybody else's mind )

I'll grab a coffee when I'm out shopping and end going round cleaning up the tables
