Forgot to post the other night but I went to the newly opened Bistro Lao on Rodney St on Wednesday.
Absolutely fantastic,Really Authentic Lao cuisine.
Food was incredible,Great little vibe,good staff.
Can't recommend it's enough.

Close to this again, finally cracked the consistency of the smoothies so they don’t come out like cake mix.
Last night: Roast Pork, Roast Potatoes, Sprouts, Carrot & Swede and Gravy. Added some stuffing and apple sauce on the side as well.

Having roast pork tomorrow. Every supermarket's joints are half price so my freezer is jammed full. Also the cheap veg offers are on this week.
As usual forgot about the cheap veg, already have potatoes, sprouts, carrots and swede in stock

Aldi just reduced their veg, now 4 pence a bag.
Get some white cabbage from Tescos, wrap it in newspaper and store it in a cool dark place - lasts for months.
Just sat down to a cup of tea (Yorkshire) and a few M&S chocolate oat biscuits. I need to do this more often

Looks lovely, but I'm sorry, where's the gravy !! And, it is gravy, not the arty farty jus. You don't go to the chippy and ask for a portion of chips and jus. Boils my gravy does jus. Anyway, hope it was nice.
