What Did You Last Eat Thread

Mine too, have a beef one one the go right now. Persuaded me to make a cauliflower cheese side, I’m still not convinced it belongs by a roast. Hope you beat the 9 and enjoy your lamb and mint sauce butties tomorrow!
Just the nine today, not very hungry. Should be able to get cheap lamb this Easter, it's usually reduced to half price. I do like cauliflower cheese. I don't know what recipe you use but this is my go to, very easy :

Also, this is very nice :

Use about the same ingredients, notice this one doesn’t have butter for the roux though? Tried fancy ones with things like added garlic and croutons but, simple is best!

Can’t get over the lamb prices and I don’t see them coming down any day soon. Is there shortage or something? Plenty in the fields as far as I can see!

Yep no roux so a little easier and there's no noticeable difference in taste.
Read this a couple of days ago, who'd be a farmer ?

Living in Greece you would think it would be on sale all over the place.I found NZ Lamb in a freezer shop and bought 2 packs of lamb tenderloin......basically 4 fillets 26 euro for 1 k

Tonight we had Lasagne pronounced Lasarnyer. It’s an Italian dish of meat thin strips of pasta with a white sauce. I enjoyed it very much. Tomorrow I’m in for a real treat. We’ll be going Italian again with a spaghetti dish were the individual pieces are shaped into letters of the alphabet, cooked in a tomato sauce and poured delicately onto 2 slices of buttered toast. Can’t wait. Bon appetite.

Breakfast today. Avocado and saurkraut on one round of toast, liverwurst (pate) on the other.

The toast is from a loaf I made 2 days ago and liverwurst from a top German butchery. I started eating saurkraut a few weeks ago for better gut health and I swear by it now. Tasty too.

I'm on a bit of a health drive atm but still wanting to eat delicious food.

Cheese Burger & Chips, and a Strawberry Milkshake.
Healthy.
