How do you make your gravy?Fillet. Broccoli. Spinach. Bit of gravy.
I sort of compromised on the icing ; I used dark chocolate, but grated milk chocolate on top of it, best of both worlds.I figured it would be gone by now. Cake doesn't last long at out house either.
Thanks for the recipe. I'm going to give it a try and the cake one too but I am to keep the dark chocolate.
Ha, that was an excellent compromise. I'm sure your guest were satisfied with it too.I sort of compromised on the icing ; I used dark chocolate, but grated milk chocolate on top of it, best of both worlds.

I like your technique and it is indeed a gravy according to the definition but not because it is brown but because it was made from meat juices.I got the water from the broccoli. Poured in on the griddle to get the stock off my steak.then i put some spring onion and chopped mushrooms in a frying pan and cooked them for a bit. Then i just poured the water with the steak juice over the spring onion and mushrooms. Added some bisto to thicken it up then added a bit of single cream.
Dunno if its technically gravy but it was brown so. Gravy
Haha .. Yes its an either,or!Baked beans AND peas? Surely that's "either, or"?
