What Did You Last Eat Thread

I’ve seen it a few times on youtube and the results always look good. Unfortunately the oven I’ve got is a double oven and the top one is too small for the Dutch oven with the lid and and I can’t be bothered to take the trays and pans out of the bottom oven.

I only normally bake baguettes and focaccia anyway.

Are instant pots still popular in the US?
That does like a lot of trouble, my oven has just enough space to fit it.

Instant pots are still very popular here, my best friend convinced me to purchase one last year and I still haven't use it

I did, we usually hangout with some Irish friends but haven't been able to do so the past two years so I just made this dish for ourselves and it was truly delicious. The Guinness just gave it an amazing flavor, I'm glad I behave and didn't take a dip lol

Btw, was wrong with my bacon? :p
I'm no expert, but I don't tend to cook mine with a volcano!

It's a long-standing issue the Brits and Irish have with the Yanks - we cut our bacon from a different part of the pig and we serve it juicy. American bacon tastes of, and has the texture of, incinerated leather in comparison. The one thing I don't like about visiting my in-laws in New York is having to go without bacon for the entire visit.

I guess I'm going have to learn to cook my bacon differently. I never cooked when I live in Colombia, we were fortunate to have a lady that cook for us l, so I didn't learn the art of cooking bacon until moving to the US and I guess I learned the bad habit of incinerating leather

To be fair, American-style bacon is basically a totally different meat to UK / Irish bacon. I should imagine you've got it just right by US standards.
