I disagree. O'Brien was absolutely skinned by Summerville and Diouf. He struggled really badly for the whole game and if he starts at right back there's a good chance he will get sent off. Much prefer him at centre back for this game without Branthwaite.

Garner is deceptively quick and good at making interceptions without fouling. He's also got a brain and knows where to position himself in one on one duals.

I would go with Iroegbunam in central midfield in place of Garner. I think Soucek would struggle to keep tabs on his lung bursting ball carries through the middle and we could overrun them in midfield.
Garner alone wont be able to contain Summerville and Diouf, he'll need help as O'Brien did at our place. But Ndiaye was on the right and didn't always get back to help so he got overran. If we contain Summerville on the right, Nuno will just move him inside to get the ball.

We need at least three in the middle of the park Garner on the right - for the reasons you said interceptions, brain, position himself, Gueye in the Middle and Iroegbunam on the left - where Bowen and Wan-Bissaka are strong. Or move Dewsbury Hall on the left side of a4. . Also it will cut down Fernades's influence on the game.

Pickford

O'Brien (if he doesn't put Patterson there) Tarkowski Keane Mykolenko

Garner Gueye Iroegbunam Dewsbury Hall

Barry Ndiaye.

To be fair, Moyes is atrocious against Liverpool and I will throw in City and United. He is good against Chelsea at home for some reason. Of all the supposed top sides Chelsea are the one who we often beat at home.

There's one team we're desperate to beat and it isn't United, City, Arsenal or Chelsea.

That divvy Moyes knows that and so do his flutters in the media but they ignore it.

16 derby losses in 12 seasons.

16 DERBY LOSSES...UNDER ONE MANAGER....DAVID MOYES.

Can we end the McNeil experiment for this one
If McNeil is an experiment, then what were they trying to find out? If they could breed a sloth with a headless chicken*?

*I will be honest I went in strong with sloth, then could not think of another animal. I think I got away with it there.

Nailed on win and back up to 6th or 7th as other results go our way.
All hopes built back up after a dynamic display.
Game after all hopes shattered again.
Just all so predictible.
Yup. Don't forget the calls for a Moyes contract extension after our win through a Tomas Soucek own-goal.

Then comes the home capitulation to Citeh...
