If west ham ran those half way throw ins any further up the line, they'd have been corners.
I think they stole a good 100m from 2-3 throw ins. I know referees usually, for some reason, turn a blind eye, but I've rarely seen a team take a throw in 20m away from where the ball went out of play.

It's these small things that really wind me up as it really gives the referee an easy opportunity to influence the result. The Pickford booking was utterly insane, Branthwaite had two fouls given for great challenges, as well.

That said West Ham got four bookings today and I really think this referee is more terrible than corrupt, although it wouldn't surprise me.

100%
I dont think it's corruption, just incompetence.
No idea why Pickford got booked

The throw in thing was really noticeable.

It's getting better and we are getting points away from home which is something we have struggled to do for years. If only we can replicate this at Goodison I think we could be looking at a season of mid-table which I would be very pleased with.
I think results at Goodison will come if the starting 11 stay fit and available. The team are building momentum and confidence is surely high. A couple of injuries or suspensions to key players and the lack of depth in certain positions could become a problem.

Absolutely. For me, just get us to the new ground not on the back of a relegation fight. Surely not too much to ask for is it. 🤞🤞
