Happy with that overall.I think this is the first real bellwether test of where we're at.
We've had a pretty steady first XI and a relatively injury free squad.
Did well against Bournemouth and the usual hoodoos against the RS
so here we are. A good mid level team away from home.
In my book, the first time this season we'll get an idea of where we're at.
I’d argue that Patterson has quality it’s just not been as evident as it should’ve been. What Doucs, McNeil, Harrison, Myko and Patterson lack in quality they make up for in effort and doggedness.
in stark contrast to some of the loafers this teams been carrying over the last decade.
Whole team dug in and didn't lose their bottle.
What a difference Branthwaite has made.
In a sea of negativity pre-game, remember you can always count on ShibbywigglesI fancy us against anyone expected to finish between 7th and 14th in the league because they will be expected to have a go, they’re not that good, our press is very good against teams outside the elite, we actually play some decent football when we get the chance too.
In fairness, he wasn’t good with his feet. It seems over his injury period he’s managed to improve that side of his game loads, even in the short spells between injuries like his turn for the first goal against Brighton last season. He’s getting better all the time!Just seen the DCL goal. People used to say that he wasn't good with the ball at his feet. How wrong they were. That was an absolute class goal. What a massive difference he makes to us when fully fit. We are going to be ok this season, points deduction or not.
Keeping an eye on the Just Giving page they’ve set up for the funding of the buy out.
