I think you overrate our players. Sigurdsson and Bolasie are the only two who have any quality at all.

Unsworth tried to play expansive football and look what happened.
hey bozo a little bird told me u was back. how many banned accounts is that now?? on how many forums?? u ever thought why this keeps happening punk?? do not worry i will CRUSH u soon to give us all the answers.
unlucky everton need more offense.

Would you be happy for us to swap defense for attack and end up 19th and West Brom 9th?

Errr...............I would be happy if we had actually had a go against the team who hadn't won in 17 prem games, and were second from bottom in the prem, instead of us parking the bus. Whether we got a point or not, I don't see what the problem is in my thinking, I could understand it against Chelsea, the RS, but West Brom?

It's all about opinions, I'm glad of a point (especially after they missed 2 sitters) but I don't have to be happy about the negative/defensive way we set-up.

Our bright shiny Summer, that was so full of hope and expectation, seems such a very long time ago now

£150m spent, talk of challenging the top 6, going on a Europa league run, winning a trophy, and the reality today? we find ourselves with fat Sam, and happy with a point after parking the bus at West Brom............................sigh.

This is Fat Sam time, the bus will be parked on a permanent basis. We will buy a big unit of a centre forward over the window and our season will be 10 behind the ball and hoof it up to the big fella.

Fat Sam, keeping tactics simple.
Same as Koeman then.

All those Martinez haters must feel pretty stupid now.

But we might come 7th.

This is not Sams team it is that of the previous manager who took us into a relegation fight. We were 18th now 9th - it was a needs must with Allardyce and so far he is delivered in making us hard to beat - what would you prefer?

Someone made a good point:

"it is possible to play forward thinking football even without the best players - the ones we have are more than capable."

It comes down to how we set-up, and how they're instructed to play. I would hope fat Sam is now working on us as a bit more of an attacking unit on the training ground, and I said it earlier, we are one of the worst passing teams in the prem.

The problem is our defence is old and slow and our midfield is piss poor.

Modern football is about attacking and defending as a team. We can defend as a team by playing deep but behind our front 3 the quality on the ball is woeful so we just punt it long hoping to win a free kick and nick a point on a set piece.

Koeman played the same. Well he would because it was the squad he assembled to do that job.

The question remains whether Big Sam plans to change that or has been brought in to implement this strategy more effectively. So far the first part has been accomplished and all we can do is hope it will improve.

It's all about opinions mate, I'm glad of a point today, (especially after they missed 2 sitters) and how we look a bit more solid, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about the negative/defensive way we set-up, and whether it was Koeman's team or not, the footy we're playing is the type of footy that Allardyce is associated with, at the moment he'll do, but in the long term, I'm afraid not for me.
