I’ve got a lot of time for Moyes, he did well for us on the whole. I was t too happy at some of his comments after he left for United but beating them home and away and finishing above them that season felt like a ‘karma’ for those comments and because of that I don’t really have an axe to grind now.

but this would be a massive backward step. It doesn’t portray us as a club looking to go places. That spell at United ruined him and despite doing ok-ish at West Ham he is not the same manager and as people have said football has moved on now.

I don’t know who the answer is - other than it’s not Silva! - but there has to be other options out there than Moyes surely?

Its even worse than it looks and i think december will be the month we are more than ever shown up for what we are under this fraud.

There is plenty of time for us to have a decent season still both cups to play for and the league is so tight a little wining run puts you back in the top 8. We do need a change I agree I just don’t want Moyes or anyone of that sort.

Burying head in sand fella. We have had hardly a decent performance all season. We've scored 13 goals in 13 games against teams that that total is shameful. We've been turned over by all 3 promoted sides. The league is tight is a myth. We should be quite easly 10 points better off with that fixture list. I cant see us getting many if any in december.
Like i say. December i fear will really find us out.

Not burying anything! Like I’ve said I want a change just NOT Moyes.
Over the past 6 years since Moyes left what gives you the idea that he’s suitable for the job?? He relegated Sunderland and fail miserably at united as well as Sociedad. So he’s been at both ends of the spectrum and failed. It amazes me people think he’s the guy we should bring in.

Mourhinio and van gaal. Two managers classed as top managers also failed at united.
I think Moyes is a suit with Everton. Im not a fan of going back but i think he will be a lot more steady than silva. Even until this end of the season. Cant be letting this idiot take us down and then look back and go we should have got rid of him.

If he hadn’t been Everton manager previously not ONE single Evertonian would be advocating this potential appointment. His record after leaving us speaks for itself.

Jose won the europa league Carling cup and finished second to city! I wouldn’t say that was failure
 
Right don't bite my head off, just passing on what I heard over the weekend. Not any kind of in the know or anything but live up in Glasgow as that's where the wife is from and had a family get together on Saturday where her uncle who is close friends with a good friend of Moyes, passed on that Everton have been in touch with Moyes a couple of times over the pass couple of years and was keen on the job but was never offered it after being made out that he would be. They contacted him a 3rd time about 6 weeks ago and wanted him to fly out to Dubai to meet again but he refused as felt messed around the past couple of times but ended up meeting in London.
The uncle didnt know anymore than that, but just that he there was talks about 6 weeks ago. Again, not any kind of in the know and neither was he but thought it useful enough to pass on.
Wouldn't want him back myself.
