I watched them against Leeds and it was genuinely the worst performance I’ve seen from any team this season. From a neutral perspective, sacking him after that probably would’ve gone down better than doing it after a game where they had 35 shots against Wolves.
That said, I do think they’ve regressed overall under Dyche. They’re awful on the ball, he doesn’t seem capable of organising a midfield properly, and Anderson looks a shadow of the player he was before Dyche came in.
His football is outcome based for sure and you don’t employ him unless you want to stay in the league or on your arse.
But I never understood the logic of shouting at the fireman after the fire is gone out because your couch got wet.
I’m not really bothered about him now that he’s left Everton - I just find the hate, totally weird and lamentable.
