Feels like we got to the “every game we lose is due to players making silly mistakes but I won’t take a shred of responsibility for my group of players continually making silly mistakes” part really quickly, this time.
Really odd how bad lucks and individual mistakes follow him around at every club he's been at and it's never any of his doing ever. Must be a curse of some sort at this point, surely?Feels like we got to the “every game we lose is due to players making silly mistakes but I won’t take a shred of responsibility for my group of players continually making silly mistakes” part really quickly, this time.
Only if they stunk of piss.He reminds me of the old fella down the pub with his pants round his ankles shouting at the fruit machine.

Assume soBlimey, was that at full time?? That’s horrendous!
He seemed baffled by his watch.
As I said when he managed us, players must turn up to training completely uninspired because it's one-dimensional football they'll be experiencing.Couldn’t help myself so watched a little of SD’s post match interview seeing how many times he mentioned ‘shape’, ‘mentality’ and the ‘basics’ of the game. I didn’t time it but I’m sure they were all mentioned in the first 30 seconds.
The guy has nothing else in his managerial toolkit. Same at every club regardless of quality of playing staff.
So I kind of broadly agree with you . I thought , and still think , for 2/3 of his time here he actually did ok under lots of outside pressure. Come the end of his career that wasn’t the case and it was clear he was done.
My issue with him is , a bit like allardyce , he might not have been overtly disrespectful but my god he acted like he was doing us a favour being here . Again as I say I think he did ok overall but his attitude was like he’d just led us to the treble .
Watching his post game today we also had his other trait of saying that his side did well, following instructions , but were let down by individual errors . Basking in glory when he wins and shifting Blame when he loses .
I honestly think part of the problem is he’s just not very likeable
One of my favourite things about the narratives surrounding Dyche is how he replaced a poor defensive coach whose defense had been allowing 1.4 goals per game over the league season, and in the rest of the season with the exact same personnel available he improved that to 1.6 goals allowed per game. As in, the defense got worse under his watch than it was under a poor defensive coach. (Unless I miscalculated, which I don't think I did; it looks like Lampard got 20 games, in which we allowed 28 goals, and Dyche got 18, in which we allowed 29 goals.)“I tell you what, that Dyche will sort the Forest defence out”…
Every myth being busted in front of us is a magnificent watch.
Edit* The Forest goalkeeper has just had to come off through pure embarrassment as well![]()
Yeah you need a little more than just the basics I’m afraid. It has been good though going on to their forum though and seeing them as cheesed off as we wereAs I said when he managed us, players must turn up to training completely uninspired because it's one-dimensional football they'll be experiencing.
