they've tried to make a remake of the remake of the the Prisoner and are hiding the fact it's a remake of the remake of the the Prisoner by giving it Twin Peaks stylings. Stick a bit of 'The Dome' in there and you have your plot.

first episode wasn't bad. will probably watch another to see if they are going anywhere interesting with it.

Spot on with that analysis watchable but if it ends up like Fortress the off button will delete it!
I cannot believe their making another series of Fortress what a utter load of crud that was!
I hope this gets better as it progresses, unlike Fortress which deteriated into pure nonsense I hope wayward pines does not got that way!!

I suspect from the first two books that it might. (The fact that I didn't order the third one - and the reviews it received - might tell you something...)

I watched the first episode more for the cast in it but they do seem to be speeding through the whole plot (for example, the fence doesn't come at the beginning in the books if I remember correctly). Plus Pam seems completely miscast and over the top.

I'm going to watch it, need to start this and American Crime. Fargo, the TV series, was certainly influenced by Twin Peaks and that was great.
