The first few episodes are, actually reminded me of Fargo (TV series), which i feel has a few TP influences. It's an easy watch, you don't really have to think.

Better than I first thought it would be evidently 3 novels compounded into one series hope they do not fetch it back on a ad hoc retake of just want another series basis - by the way nothing like twin peaks! apart from the sign of the town as it drive in and the mountains - a good watch!

Thought the setting of the first two or so were a bit like Twin Peaks, but more in the Fargo (TV) way if you have seen that. I knew it was a book, didn't realise it was three in one..! No wonder it's fast paced, I've got a few more eps to go. I think they are doing a new series with a completely different cast.
I have seen Fargo film , and the series both very good - just got two to watch left of Twin peaks - then realised there is a movie of twin peaks made after the first two series of a prequel of the series -also in 2017 a year late another series of twin peaks with a majority of the same actors in it it was supposed to be out in 2016 , but has been delayed! average zany viewing twin peaks dated , but addictive! Nothing like Waywood pines IMO
